Our Aims & Passion
"The World Chocolate Masters is a top level competition for chocolate craftsmen all over the world. The purpose is to offer these people a forum to showcase their skills with chocolate.
The World Chocolate Masters is an organisation of Barry Callebaut to promote the creative use of top quality chocolate in all its applications. Barry Callebaut is today recognized as the world's leading supplier of high-quality cocoa, chocolate and chocolate related products and decorations. Since its foundation, the company has grown worldwide with production sites all around the globe and dedicated employees who provide their customers with only the finest products and solutions.
Creativity with chocolate is key! In the entire competition, original approaches in the recipes and aspects of all creations, are highly appreciated by the jury.
This year's competition theme for both the national selections and the final, is "Surrealism". Contestants are challenged to express this in all their creations! The biggest winner of this unique competition will undoubtedly be the end consumer who will eventually be able to taste the best and most original chocolate treats at his favourite confectionery store or restaurant!
